![]() ![]() ![]() Probably my only issue with Azoth's bow signatures. Ssig is not too bad as you can cover almost half of the Shipwrecked Falls with the dash, but it's still way too situational, though sometimes you might catch someone off guard with the Gravity Cancel.īow Nsig is not that great as a dodge-read. But his other axe signatures are definitely lacking: Nsig is simply bad – small horizontal coverage (and not that big vertical coverage, actually), not that fast to use it in a pinch and the reward is not great either as it doesn't deal that much damage and the angle the opponent gets sent most of the time is terrible and it won't KO fast enough – compare it to, for example, Brynn's Nsig and you'll get my meaning. Don't get me wrong, his Dsig is not bad at all, maybe great even (it even outranges spear's Nlight, plus with the dash it covers more distance than dash Slight), albeit too grounded. To make matters worse, Azoth's Dexterity stance takes a point from his already lacking Speed stat, so you're pretty much stuck with 5 Dexterity (or 4 Dexterity with the Defense stance if you're fine with just 4 Speed).īad axe signatures. You can still manage to make it true if you hit Dlight from the max distance and do it frame-perfectly, but it's nowhere close enough to the consistency that you get with 6 or higher Dexterity. Well, admittedly, it's mostly used for putting opponent offstage, but that's still a drawback, albeit not a huge one. You probably also miss out on few very-very situational true combos (I don't remember which), but Dlight > Sair is the most notable of them. Doesn't really matter when it comes to the axe, but not having 6 or higher Dexterity means you don't have access to the bow's Dlight > Sair true combo. Speed is by far the best stat in the game, so having base 4 Speed (5 with the Speed stance) is rather lacking. And Ssig is simply such a great signature overall – definitely one of the most versatile bow signatures, as you can use it in neutral, as a dodge read, in edgeguarding, in the air with the Gravity Cancel – anywhere. Nsig is basically a heavier version of bow's Nlight that deals big damage and KO's earlier. Dsig is a defensive signature that helps with the bow's weakness right in front of you, it's quite unique. And a good amount of Strength too, I guess. And, well, if you happen to like both axe and bow, Azoth's literally the only one.Ī good amount of Defense stat – 'nuff said. Kind of similar to, I dunno, Sentinel, Kor or even Bodvar. So after building up damage with bow you can switch to axe to KO. And axe-while unsafe-is a weapon that can KO earlier than most with but a single swing. ![]() Bow is a fast weapon with a good combo/string/gimp potential. I'm an Azoth main (low-to-mid Plat, level 60 with Azoth), so I'll try to give you a quick list of his pros and cons. ![]()
